that's good mate, you are one lucky man. I had nothing but dramas with those bastards, they have lost me as a customer.

Thanks for your replies guys, and sorry to those who haven't had such pleasant experiences. Like I said... one in every thirty or forty.

I think it must be a Dunlop thing.

Someone else told me if it had not been a known issue, I would have had to pay a percentage of the replacement cost, based on the wear of the originals.

I didn't hang around to ask, I grabbed the keys and ran as fast as I could. :crybaby:

I have never had anything less than Excellent service from Ford Dealers..

In Sydney, Melbourne, Coffs Harbour, Gold Coast, Brisabane, Sunshine Coast and now Townsville......

I have not 1 bAd word to say about ford after sales service, but that's maybe cause I spent the extra $$ on an FPV..

I got the same service with my XR6T,,,

If you are getting treated like sh*t.. Maybe you should check your attitudes... I know 1 in every 50-100 will have big issues but give them your patience and confidence and you might see a better result.....

Just my 2c worth

After kicking up a stink and one dealership and having to keep climbing the ladder of employees was the only way I got action done, so I switched to using Central Ford down here in Melbourne, never looked back :crybaby:

I'm suprised Dunlop hasn't fixed this problem yet, I first noticed it back in 03 on the SP3000, and have now seen it happen on SP9000 and Sport Maxx.

Just goes to show how sh*t the manufacturer is...

did they give details on how they fixed the clicking? I get that too on really slow turns, ie turning outta the driveway..

I got a split in the face of one of my dunlops after reading on here it was a tyre fault, an ford said I musta drove over something and gave me nothin. I drove on it anyway and never had a problem with it.. they were so loud anyway hahaha
