:welcome2::welcome2::welcome2:

Hey guys,

was talking to someone about his xr6T on Myspace and he suggested this;

"and with the Factory BOV ( blow of valve ) located at the back near the firewall the BOV will be sitting there all u need to do is dissconet it block of the 25mm oulets from the hoses and this make the loudess dose"

Didn't really sound like a smart thing to do when I first read it... Any thoughts??

:blink::blink:

Yeah that'll work

The BOV is releaseing air, befor it gets the chance to come out of the mouth of the turbo. Thus without the BOV, more air for Dosing, creating a louder Dose.

Removing the BOV shouldnt damage your car, its only disigned to keep your Turbo Spoolling by releasing back pressure.

It's not really a good thing to do, cause all the pressure to come out the front of the turbo.

You could try making the stock Bov to atmosphere but the standard valves tend to leak, causing poor idealing

It sounds like you have a couple of Turkey's mating under the bonnet.

I have heard that if you use protection you wont get a dose.
