Well, thank goodness for that then. I've got a 3.5" MetalCat myself and so far so good! :welcome2:

Actually, I did a fair bit of research into cats before buying one and MetalCat kept cropping up as one of the best in the business, for a reasonable price too I might add.

Tony, just accept the fact that you are a fat bastard and that is why you are Fat-Tony.

We do not care what you r real name is.

Or should we change your handle to Fat-Adam :welcome2:

Yes you can if you want, ohhh that's not me in the picture :welcome2:

I think AdamMk11 would be the better option as Tab suggested, atleast then I would have no reason to have such a disgusting avatar

We are the distributor of Metal Cat in Australia and we find it incredible that a person will go and try destroy a products credibility without first contacting the distributor to discuss this in full.

Let us state the facts

-We have distributed thousands of these cats in Australia with neglible failure rates.

-Companies such as TRD, BPMsports, Gonzos Racing Pipes, RDP use these as standard along with hundreds of smaller workshops around Australia.

-No cat is bullet proof regardless as there is are heat limitations to the biscuit.

-A car needs to be correctly tuned and this is quite often where problems occur.

I think people need to keep in persppective that a cat is inert ie it reacts to the conditions it is fed. How can a cat fail at as an example at 300kw , yet the SAME cat is found on the same platform running at 550kw?

The Metal Cat product can be found on every platform in Australis from WRX to V8s as it delivers the goods from a legality and flow perspective.

Mate

To be fair, someone did state that there are metalcats, and then there is the Brand Metalcat which is an excellent example of a good metalcat.

The past has proven that you will never get the full story on here, but the bloke did state his tuner and the that the AFR were in check. These things sometimes do happen.

Hi mate I contacted Pro Speed Racing about it and asked why it happened and what caused it but all they said was it could have been a number of things. I researched cats also before I purchased this one and Metalcat always appaered to be the best, its just a pain in the ass when one little thing like that fails means another trip to Brisbane because no one up here has any idea :crybaby:
