So I drove it back to bundy and pulled the dump pipe and cat out and noticed the 3.5 metal cat I just had putin was ratteling so I cut the cat out and looked inside and one end was all melted and the biscut had come lose, any one else have this problemWhen you say "cat I just put in was rattling" does this mean that it started to rattle after bring fitted or was there some time before it came loose. Most cat's need to be "bedded in" by a slow gentle warm up after first being installed. With a ceramic cat you can almost guarantee that it will break if you dyno it straight after installing without bedding it in first.Did you bed in the cat? I still believe its a cat killer. The only brand "S" fuel I use is LPG. I've had dramas with the other fuels from that company in various cars. I believe there is no sence in risking the XR to it.
