Hi Guys

Im getting my ba n/a xr6 turboed during this week but I canr decide on wether to run a haltech computer system or a capa flash tuner.

What do u think would be a better choice

Im not looking a running hugh number obviously due to the higher compression ratio

Thanks

You will find 99% of people will say Edit and that is because it is the best choice.

Edit hands down, from someone who has been there and done it all before. It is the little things like cold starts and a nice idle are so important they are things that the factory computer do better than any other.

The fact the you say you don't want to run a higher number also leads to edit being your best choice as it will allow you to sqeeze the best performance from your car.

Are you referring to the new Haltech E8 & E11v2 that may replace the oem computor.

Just noticed in street fords issue 25 page 117.

It states these are latest additions that can manage variable cam timing, interfacing with digital dashes, boost control and just about every moving part on the engine, also that it is packed with features more than you will ever likely use.

Hope it is a new option so we can have the freedom to tune our own cars.

If it isn't full replacement well I would say go with the flash tuner.

ill have to make a trip down to intune motorsport to get it tuned properly

:bum: Mate I would consider another tuner as reports of Intune on T's have been mixed to say the least. He does better with V8s than Turbo's. Check the sponsors forums have a read and make some calls :spoton:
