The one in the ebay link in the first post is an Autel GS400. The difference between the two, is that the GS400 has a comprehensive LCD readout telling you what its doing, and what its found (or not found), whereas with the GS300 you have to look codes up in a booklet, or on the CD. Both support CAN.Here's the GS300 for $100 from the same dude:Autel GS300 from the same dudeI've used a GS400 on my car, my brothers BF GT, and the folks BFII Fairmont Ghia. It connected to, and read the computers in all three no probs. As stated however, I highly doubt it can read the FoMoCo specific codes. Most likely only reads the generic OBDII P codes. Even so, a tool that only reads the 'generic' codes is better than nothing. Edited 05/05/07 01:33 PM by Spruce

I keep one of the units in my car just in case. - Genis CAN GS 300 -It will " Support multiple trouble codes requests: generic codes, pending codes and manufacturer's specific codes."There are a number of OBD2 Code sites on the Internet to get all the information re Codes.I also got a unit that will read " some " live data.Hope this helps.
