Try AAMI, with there flexi offset excess policy my premium for our F6 is $387. BUT if I make a claim that is OUR fault, the excess is $1500. Ouch. I estimate that over the last 4 years my wife and I have saved over $2.8K on both our cars using this flexi premium option.

Regards Bob

PS we are both over 40 as well. Full no claim.

I'm 26 in sydney with typhoon, personal use and was with just car insurance with minimal mods but renewal just came up shannons and just car wanted over 4K and other insurers wouldn't cover my mods and NRMA just did the whole lot for a touch over 3K.

When I first bought the car just car did $2300 upfront or installments and I payed upfront.

Bill, I would suggest that you check your policy with NRMA as they refused outright to cover me for any mods at all in my T and that was with my max no claim bonus and at the time I had a cleanskin licence.I am also an old bastard :spoton:

BTW AAMI rate for the Phoon is $1750 with all mods listed on policy. These are covered for full replacement in addition to the vehicle itself.eg Zorst is listed at $2500

Not quite :spoton::roflmbo: Im in NZ, am 32 and pay $540 per year

RAC gave me a daft renewal quote, so I'm using AAMI - paying $438 in Perth for a stock 'phoon.

Mind you, my excess is $1,850, so I'd better not screw up!
