I too would like to know why?? They never squeeled when I had the pads in the old car. But then again I didnt have slotted rotors in the old car... Also it may be due to the dust in the slots.I have Ferodo formulas 2000 pads and they did not squeal until they saw two track days and 15000ks. I have DBA slotted 4000s also. Very happy with the performance, I am still driving easy to bed them in but you can just feel the massive differance compared to stock (with brake shudder ) money well spent $1000 fitted.
