I just heard that Difilpo make a 3.5" system for the Turbos. Apparantly they've been out for a little while, but theres nothing on the website (doesn't look like it's been updated for years) it just has the 3" system. From what I've heard, the 3" system isn't much better than stock! But a 3.5" system? Now that's got me interested. I'm assuming it would have a 3.5" cat too? Are Difilipo cats ceramic or metal? What is the price of this unit? Does anyone have one or has heard one?

Cheers

I have had one fitted for nearly a year now. Their 3.5 in high flow cat are too restrictive and dont flow much more that a standard cat. On my car the weld that joins the tailpipe to the rear muffler has broken away and needed rewelding buy an exhaust shop. I would buy an X Force 3.5" system as they look better and are alot cheaper.

I have seen a defillipo exhaust on a car , thought it was crap . Guy was in exhaust shop with same cracked flanges and a brocken dump .

How much for a Xforce system , what sizes do they come in ?? Dont know whether to do dump only for now or whole system . Planning cooler mod first though .

Excuse my ignorance, but how do you know the cat is too restrictive? What have you done to come to this conclusion? Do you know if their cat is metal or ceramic core? If it's ceramic core then I can understand that it would be more restrictive, but that would baffle me as to why they would make a "high flow cat" with a ceramic core.

It's dissapointing to hear that the difilipo turbo exhaust isn't of good quality and performance as the BOSS V8 one is considered the best in the business. They aren't bloody cheap either, I don't know if you want to go into what you paid but I heard the Turbo exhaust in 3.5" was WELL over 2k.

ceremic core and cost $2100 all up.

That's pretty expensive then! An X force 3.5" or twin 2.5" system with a 4" dump and metal cat is around $1600 I think. KPM premium exhaust also with a 3.5" full system (dump, metal cat and cat bacl all in stainless steel) costs about $100 more than that.

I wouldn't let anything that Darren DiFillipo has made, touch my car.

It's a bit like Herrods, over priced under achieving sh*te!

Most of the BOSS guys over on AFF would disagree with you on that one!
