Hi Guys

I bought a walbro gss341 fuel pump off ebay,I had a performance tuner install the pump for me today,He made note that the inlet pipe (under the fuel strainer/filter) was the same size as the stock xr6t fuel pumps. His Walbro fuel pumps he sells have a much larger inlet feed.

The fuel pump I bought does have "Walbro" stamped on the side.

Any ideas guys if I got ebay scammed ???

Cheers

the GSS341/342 walbro pumps have the same size inlet feed as the standard pumps, they are rated at 255l/h at 3bar

The pump he is getting confused with is the walbro GSS294, which has the big fat inlet feed, this one is rated at 5bar (180l/h approx). but never the less, this is the pump you want as we run 4bar fuel presure base, then with every 15psi boost, go up 1 bar. so 5 bar. Exactly what the pumps rated at.

So the answer is I got the correct fuel pump ?

Will this pump handle my mods

1/ edit (Thanks to Paul from "Elite Automotive"

2/ Siemems Deka Injectors

3/ 2nd CAI

4/ Rear Muffler removed

Do I realy need valve springs (I have a 2004 BA xr6t)

Cheers

People have used the GSS341, GSS342 and GSS294 with no problems. It will handle all those mods you have done.

And yes, You need valve springs, you will find your valves float when you start pushing more power / boost.
