It's easy to do.

  • Remove the gear shift cover.
  • Remove the console wing (trim running up beside ICC) retaining screws.
  • Remove both console wings.
  • Remove the clock cover fascia (flat panel on top of centre air vents).
  • Disconnect antenna connector.
  • Disconnect the 4 connectors under the body computer starting from drivers side, working towards the passenger side.
  • Unscrew the top screw located at the top of the ICC.
  • Unscrew the 4 lower M6 bolts used to secure the ICC to the instrument panel.
  • Prise the top structure of the ICC away from the dash.
  • Once the clip-points have been disengaged slide the ICC out of the dash.

Now you have to swap over the BEM and remote key receiver. You should just be able to compare the 2 unit and easily see what needs to be swapped over.

Now put it back in making sure to plug the connectors in the reverse order to which they came out. eg, last connector out is first connector back in.

Yes.

The BEM is on the bottom of the ICC and is made out of coloured plastic, different models have different colours.

The RKR is on top of the ICC, it's a long, flat white unit. You'll see the wires going up to it.

I didn't have to with mine, but the only thing different between my 2 ICC's was the colour screen.

You are going from a single disc to a 6 disc stacker, so I couldn't tell you 100%.

At worst you might need a Ford dealer to initialise it with the WDS. You won't have any problems with security codes though.

From experience. No you will not have any problems to drive your vehicle to ford presuming that the ICC is fitted in correctly.

When my tft screen was installed from my 6 stacker, the only issue I had was a security error.

I than drove it to ford and they rectified this in minutes :spoton:
