After a week of driving my fuel economy actually improved from an average of 15.5 l/100km to high 14's even with some spirited driving. One day I noticed that the car started behaving weird, in that one minute it would go hard and then the next it would loose considerable power.I also noticed that within a few days the fuel usage has gone up to 17.5 l/100km and still rising.I have checked all the hoses for loose clamps and even decided to fit the new intercooler which I had sitting in the garage waiting to be added with some other mods, which I intended to do all at once.this eliminated the loose clamp scenario. My spark plugs were regapped at time of edit which I noticed caused the car to pop on idle.Should I check the plugs again?Any advice as to what could be causing this and what other things I could do to try and track down the problem would be great. Thanks

Also be careful running around with the bigger cooler because you should have the car retuned.
