Yes was custom tuned with edit and managed 230 rwkw with 6psi. Tune is meant to pump out 12psi and have 270rwkw +. Boost comes in late after 4000 rpm. Tried another boost controller and that wasnt problem.

If its a sticky wastegate how would I go about freeing it up? And im guessing the only way to see if its the actuator is to change it, roughly how much?

I had a similar thing wen I was running a generic edit..I wasnt that impressed with the performance and wen I installed a boost gauge I noticed it only went to around 5-6psi..

Turned out to be the solenoid..

Find out if the car has had a uni-craip in it before, if so they have not wired it up right when they have pulled the chip out....

hey guys just a thanks for your input. the problem ended up being the waste gate was stuck open.

Thanks for reporting back lets boogy. I'll get mine checked as well.

The problem was due to the wastegate actually slipping down some how, not sure if it was factory fault or not but because it had slipped down it was hitting the wall of the turbo and wouldnt close. It took a very hard bashing to move it just a few mm so hopefully it wont happen again and if it does then a tak weld wil make sure it doesnt slip down again.
