Only 5 in australia at the time. I enquired through Saleen in US and really the pricing should have been approx 120K inc. rh drive conversion and all taxes and gvt charges. That's just crazy. A Saleen Mustang is not worth that much in my book, even being so rare down there. The standard Mustang v8 could be had for $23k US here in the states... its amazing they actually sold for $100k AUS there. I guess it's all about the exclusivity, becuase it certainly wasn't a high-performance machine worthy of the price-tag. ( Personally, I'd take the phoon over any thing Saleen makes, save maybe the S7). They better be bringin the new Camaro down here!!! I'm torn between the new Camaro and the new Challenger. You guys see the concept car of the latter? It's due out in 2009, with the same 6.1L 420 hp the Chrysler SRT-8s have. Quite a badass car imho. But the new Camaro looks awesome too. Of course, the Shelby GT500 is also amazing, but unlike the others, is outrageously expensive ($70k US, more than an Audi RS4).
