Headsex Donating Members 2,528 Member For: 19y 5m 15d Gender: Male Location: Melb Posted 08/05/07 09:08 AM Author Share Posted 08/05/07 09:08 AM Well. time for a little bit of a update..Ran the car up on the dyno again on saturday morning as I just got my car back from the auto builders (see my next thread)..Cleaned up the boost a little. you will notice the boost has like a jagged action along the whole way adjusting the boost up and down .25 of a psi to maintain the desired boost. this is fairly typical of a car tuned using the PI controller to control the boost. Benefits? same amount of boost in all gears, not 15psi in one gear, and less in the others.. (dont believe me? look carefully whilst you drive if your tuner tunes straight duty cycle)This tune has a little more midrange than it did before... Mario's dyno is not a Dyno Dynamics as everyone is used to, its a DynoLogic.
