It can be beefed up with new speakers and amps if it is not loud enoughA sunroof is a waste of money IMHO, but some people love theirs. If you are tall (over 6') then forget it.The momo wheel is crap, get the "sports" wheel. it is chunky and a must have option. You can buy them for 1/2 price form eBay if you are not packaging your car for finance. If you can stretch your budget, get the Luxury pack and sports steering wheel, this would be the ideal setup. As for colour, either Ego or Black looks great. I would go Ego if I had another choice as black shows up every mark and bit of dirt.Hi,I might be able to help you save some money. I own a 2004 (November) MKII XR6T- Automatic (4sp) The color is lightning strike and its got all the bells and wisthles you want.First of all it has complete luxury pack interior, meaning full leather interior with sports seats, premium 150 watts stereo with subwoofer, dual climate control A/C. Also has color meatching (red) momo steering wheel and gear shift, 18 inch factory alloys with full size spare, premium FPV brakes, tinted glasses, original XR6 carpet mats and mud flaps, original Ford tow pack. It cost me $ 60,400 on road in December 2004. It's got only 29400 KMs, no modifications, it is in show room condition . It used to be a leased car when I was working for a company but now I run my own local small business and need the cash. You mentioned you checked out the market place so you should have an idea about the prices. Let me know if you are interested, I can post some pictures or even better you can check out the car yourself.CheersUFO Link to comment https://www.fordxr6turbo.com/forum/topic/34215-heya/page/2/#findComment-521988 Share on other sites

I guess there is a few advantages to having a job on the mines eh =D only a first year apprentice too. and UFO thanks for the offer mate and I know im just being picky but I wanna get a 6sp and just being able to buy a brand new car gives me a warm fuzzy feeling in places that im not gonna mention. Also resale factor isnt really a big thing with me. I've actually wanted an Xr for quite a few years now but never had the money. Then the BA came out and I was in love even more. Its not really something I only plan on having for a few years then flipping it off. My family has a pretty good history of keeping cars for 10+ years and being well looked after so I think that mighta seeped into my blood. This is gonna be my car and I wanna be able to buy one from new to treat it exactly how I want.. obviously no offense to other owners but you can never be too sure how other people treat things like this This way I will be in total control from the start and I will be able to take things at my own pace. Mmm Anywhothanks again Link to comment https://www.fordxr6turbo.com/forum/topic/34215-heya/page/2/#findComment-522029 Share on other sites
