Any weekend day would be fine.

How about on a Saturday a cruise from Broadwater carpark to Mt Tamborine with lunch pinic there, then head back to Broadwater carpark for the night hang out.

Or may cruise through Mt Tam then on to Mt Cootha for night time look at all the pretty lights.

And maybe dinner up there, best to buy elsewhere as cafe at Lookout is expensive eg slice of mud cake and coffee $10.
