I take it you have had an edit? Theres another little tweak/change the fella's that do the edits need to do. Mine does the exact same thing, stays on til I restart car. Flip side, I always turn off T/C if I wanna up it, I reckon TC on while trying to go fast is dangerous, too sporadic for my liking.

The torque that the traction control is used to, is surpassed. It needs to be raised. Mine only does it now if I am being a very naughty boy! :spoton:

Mine does it too ... I like that feature it saves me having to lean over and push the button .... Traction control is useless anyway in the wet or dry ....

It's nothing to do with the edit (except for being able to spin the tyres for longer) If the car is under warrenty take it back to Ford and have them clean the ABS sensors on the front wheels this should fix the problem. :yikes:

Sorry mate, but I have to disagree.

It is all about the edit, and how it interacts with the ABS unit (which controls TC), and as I understand, there is no easy fix for the BA's, if at all.

Before converting my XR6T BA to a BF F6 specification, mine did this as well, but after the BF conversion the TC is much more stable, and flashes when the wheels spin, but does not easily turn itself off.

Never touched the ABS sensors :spoton:

Sorry Deek

But your not correct on this one. My car use to do it until recently, until I had the car retuned. I mentioned it to my tuner and he new all about the problem. He ticked a box, and now it works perfectly...

cheers

I came up with my answer from when I had a problem with my TC light staying on. I took the car back to Nizpro, Simon said it wasn't a Edit fault! He sent me to Ford. Where they put the car onto their machine and it came up with the faulty ABS sensors. Once cleaned the problem was fixed.

grepin at least you know the problem can be fixed :spoton:
