Is this normal? Only since my tune up 284 rwkw. Link to comment https://www.fordxr6turbo.com/forum/topic/34146-traction-control-light-staying-on/ Share on other sites

Theres another little tweak/change the fella's that do the edits need to do. Mine does the exact same thing, stays on til I restart car. Flip side, I always turn off T/C if I wanna up it, I reckon TC on while trying to go fast is dangerous, too sporadic for my liking. Get your tuner to fix it. Link to comment https://www.fordxr6turbo.com/forum/topic/34146-traction-control-light-staying-on/#findComment-521124 Share on other sites

Posted 13/04/07 11:11 AM Share Posted 13/04/07 11:11 AM The torque that the traction control is used to, is surpassed. It needs to be raised. Mine only does it now if I am being a very naughty boy! I like that feature it saves me having to lean over and push the button .... Traction control is useless anyway in the wet or dry .... Never touched the ABS sensors Edited 14/04/07 02:17 AM by Dagabond Link to comment https://www.fordxr6turbo.com/forum/topic/34146-traction-control-light-staying-on/#findComment-521287 Share on other sites

My car use to do it until recently, until I had the car retuned. I mentioned it to my tuner and he new all about the problem. He ticked a box, and now it works perfectly...cheers Link to comment https://www.fordxr6turbo.com/forum/topic/34146-traction-control-light-staying-on/#findComment-521292 Share on other sites

I took the car back to Nizpro, Simon said it wasn't a Edit fault! He sent me to Ford. Where they put the car onto their machine and it came up with the faulty ABS sensors. Once cleaned the problem was fixed. grepin at least you know the problem can be fixed Link to comment https://www.fordxr6turbo.com/forum/topic/34146-traction-control-light-staying-on/#findComment-521313 Share on other sites
