Hey Cro you must be getting soft - when did you add GSD3, RE050, V103 to the top tier list. A few weeks ago they were all rubbish :stupid:

lol

They are rubbish when compared to the Pilot Sport 2, the PS2 blitzes every one of them.

They also are however the top of the line from the top manufacturers, and there is no denying they are great tyres. It's just there still is better out there :roflmbo:

As for 19s, whoever puts Nankangs on their car needs to have a rethink ... a mate of mine had them on his 200SX and a tyre exploded on him. I have never heard of this happening with any tyre since the days of running retreads on my old Cortina ...

:ermm:

Same thing happened to my mate last week. Cruising down the freeway at 100k's in his VZ SS then his rear end starts floating all over the road. Gets out to have a look and finds a big blowout on the inside wall.

These were 225/30/20's and it absolutely killed his $500+ rim :roflmbo:

That was the cremation of an old set of tyres aa. I had them replaced 45 minutes after that!

Oh and they were sh*tty 245/40/18 federals too.

Check the rims and then realise what rims I have now.

Feddie super steals rock from the look of them , going to get some for the fronts, so are they really that bad?

I used them soley for 12mths. I was going through a set of tyres every 3 months, and all I can say is they are f*cking sh*thouse!!!! Noisey sh*t wearing etc etc. The only plus to them is they are slightly better than WANKANGS and they are the same price.

I love the tyres I have atm. I can't fault them. They grip bloody awsome, and are reasonably cheap, but still exxy according to my wife, who is still stuck in the 14'' rim days!

Cro will bag them, but really, who gives a f*ck what cro thinks, he drives a friggin VW now! :spoton::bum:

Everyone that has driven my car is amazed at how these things stick. Cheap too.

Hankook K107/ S1 EVO 275/30/19 Cost me 340 bucks fitted, and IMHO are streets ahead of V103's.

I have driven this car and it would do 1.90 60 ft and has very impressive grip, I have not been in a xr6 turbo with that power and has that much grip :roflmbo:

alirghty, finally putting tyres on tomorrow, going to give the hankook tyres a go but got quoted on two different models. For the K107's above, I got quoted $415 (as opposed to $340, where was that from?) and the K104's for $350. Just seeinf if the extra $150 for two tyres is worth the extra???
