you wont beat one off the line if he knows how to launch, pretty much nothing can touch AWD wrx, evo, GTR etc etc... sorry...

how far down the road does the race end is the question?

PS stock GTR does 12.9 quarter mile. Spend 5k and itll go into the 10`s...

I have one of each. The Evo will win every time if you know how to launch it, its like lightening off the line. Its a also a cornering demon that'll show a clean pair of heels to exoticar worth 2 or even 3 times as much.

The evo isnt a straight line weapon, its a track day one & winding mountain roads one!

pair t517z turbos ~2.5k...

edit (pfc) < 1k

zorst (dumps and cat) 1k

injectors and 044 pump 1k

you dont need slicks, a few other mods would be nice for reliability, like a clutch etc but this alone will get one into the high 10`s... they are in a different league to a xr6t, more like a supercar believe it or not... have a look on you tube for one doing a lap around the nurburg ring, bloody impressive, my brother also owns one, so its not like I havnt driven one either... I killed his clutch last week :stirthepot:

ill have a quick dig around on the net for some drag times to prove it to you, ill see what I can find...

Ive acounted for 3 modded GTR,s.Id like to see one run 10,s for 5 k.My mates GTR has seen about 100k spent on it with various engine and turbo applications including NOS and the best he ever ran was a 10.4 and that was with NOS and a big single turbo.

there is no way a GTR wil run 10's with only $5K spent on mods.... I have spoken to the owner of godzilla motorsports who has had the fastest GTR in oz and currently has 3rd fastest (if memory serves me correct).

10's for only $5K... your dreaming!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Exactly what I was thinking Jetters.....

Maybe they could pay and XR6T driver (blueboost for instance) $5000 to tow you down the quarter to get a ten

Add it up, you have 5.5k already and haven't included the most expensive part the labour cost./..
