I was in the same boat about 16 months ago as well.. wasnt as bad as your picture but all my fins were all bent with no broken pieces... It also cost me $1600 to replace... its got to Suck

bead blasting is a bit exstreem but me mate had one at his work so it cost me F-all.

sand blasting would be beter, most enginering workshops have them.

okay good to here the trip is still on, still dunno if we r comin. At least change the cross over pipe so it dont happen again

Yeah but would rather put the $1000 to $2000 to something other than fixing fords problems than on a set off expensive pipes.

We are still trying to figure out what caused the problem, we looked in the cross over pipe and only a very small amount of paint flake missing but no way this would of caused it. It's almost like a screw or bolt or something metal has gone through it by the scratch marks it left in the turbo.
