I can't convey in words how devastated you must feel. I've had 2 cars stolen in the past and the sinking feeling as you walk out and realise it aint there is horrible.

All the best with the recovery.

PS: Being a holiday tomorrow I'd be borrowing a car tonight and having a look around the known 'hoon' spots tonight with a few mates...

Thanks for the kind words guys. No news yet but hopefully everyone keeps their eyes and ears peeled and it turns up in one piece. Dboss knows my car well so will pick up on anything if it crops up ropund this area.

It sh%&s me so bad that I alway do the right thing, pay my taxes, pay my bills, look after people etc and there are still people out there in the world that will do this stuff to ya. If I get my hands on them.....

On a side note, interesting I had the Police fingerprinter round about an hour and a half after I phoned it in. But no Police over yet to go through the scene of the crime - perhaps they're too busy handing out double demerits on the long weekend to investigate actual crimes. I bet if it was me driving around in my car today they would have pulled me up by now for something or other.

If I end up with insurance $$ instead of my car back I am gonna need to buy a phoon........

bastards, sorry for ya mate..

on a side note; what sort of stuff did they steal from your house?

do you think they came for 'car and why not some contents while we're at it' or 'contents and hey a car'?

I know nobody can say anything to make it betterl but it really makes me think about how ive stupidly left my keys on the kitchen bench next to a semi open window 1m from the typhoon!

never again, f*rk

They stole the easy stuff from our house - laptop, mobile phones, jewellery, some cash. So probably just little house thieves who got what they could run away with and then found a fantastic getaway car. As opposed to car thieves who tried to make it look like a break & enter.

So today we will start the insurance company process and see how good/pleasant/bad they are to deal with.....

Happy Easter Sunday ...!!!

Went out for 2 hours today, come back at 2:45 to find the back door of the house got jemmied open, and they found the keys to my car. Suburb is Monterey, near Brighton le Sands in Sydney.

As well as all the stuff stolen from the house, the thieves took off in my 330rwkw Falcon.

If anyone sees this car around, make sure you do something - rego AOT 47B, 2003 Black XR6Turbo.

20" wheels on it so it's real noticeable....if it hasn't been stripped by now.

If anyone offers you cheap 20's, APS intercooler, stainless exhaust with 5" cat at a price that's too good to be true - let me know on 0419 243 275, I'll reward anyone that recovers the car with a cash incentive.

cheers

Todd
