there was another cartoon in the 80s with robots that changed into cars etc but I cant think of the name. any one else remember?

I also loved Gforce! it was on abc at 5pm weekdays back in the 80s

didnt robotech come out in 85 , transformers was 84 or some thing

well I went to see transformers last night and it was excellent! it was actually quite comical at times (I wont say too much in case I spoil it for someone!) although a bit dissapointed in optimus prime. he seemed a bit weak and clumsy.
