ONLY 6 SLEEPS TO GO

shhHh...

This year, you'll find out about the House in a whole new way…

You'll learn more about the Housemates than ever before…

And someone very, very close to Big Brother is set to become a massive part of your BB experience…

Who will it be?

What will they say?

And what will Big Brother think when he finds out?

fact or fiction? you decide

The rumours about Big Brother are flying thick and fast, we know some of them are true. Can you sort the fact from the fiction?

Each of the HMs has their little sister in the House.

There are five different types of recycling processes the Housemates must follow.

There will be live fish in the House for HMs to catch, clean and cook for food.

There are two Houses this year.

HMs have been allocated two buckets of water a week for washing themselves.

All of the HMs are male.

Gretel will be spending a night in the House and will sleep there.

HMs will be 100 per cent self sufficient from day one.

There is a 'cool' new room in the House.

Find out if the rumours are true 7.00 Sunday night on Ten.

"THIS IS BIG BROTHER"

What's different this year in terms of how the house looks?

There are big changes. This year Housemates will actually be helping the outside world from inside the House, not only by conserving, but by generating energy AND water.

Are there any new animals this year, if so what are they?

Big Brother never reveals his biggest secrets but this is guaranteed to be BIG.

Where do the HMs come from?

This year the Housemates won't know they've been chosen as Housemates until they actually step foot into the House. But, the “shortlist” represents each and every Australian State and Territory - for the first time ever.

Are the any circumstances where you'd be a bit more lenient on a HM?

Lenient? Big Brother? If Housemates break the rules there must be consequences. This year, those consequences will be felt like never before.

What do you do in the off season when there are no HMs to watch?

Big Brother is ALWAYS watching!

Global warming, water restrictions, oil shortages…today's environment is in a fragile state. But while the rest of the world is still contemplating their 'green' options, Big Brother is already at the top of the compost heap; and this year's HMs will be right in the thick of it.

Imagine a House where 'green' is the new black and environmental awareness goes way beyond dripping taps. Imagine a Big Brother who 'lights up' at the thought of solar powered energy and expects the HMs to do the same.

BB's eco-commitment will seep deep into the walls, floors and even the oxygen. The House has been modified for optimum recyclability, minimum environmental impact and maximum entertainment for those who are watching.

He may have gone green, but he's no couch-slouching, long-haired hippy. Let it be known, BB is still as tough, if not tougher than ever.

Being 'green' in the BB House is not going to be easy.

See for yourself on Big Brother Opening Night, Sunday April 22 at 7pm
