The only thing is im not sure what boost I should run with it.I can't decide between getting an 8psi and 10psi tune or a 7psi and 9psi tune.What is the known maximum amount of boost the internals on a stock T can safely run?Can any of you guys shed some light on the subject? BFHOON Donating Members 1,932 Member For: 18y 9m 18d Gender: Male Location: nsw Posted 05/04/07 12:19 PM Share Posted 05/04/07 12:19 PM it depends on what u have.stock injectors stock cooler 9 to 9.5 psi... u will find over 10 it will be too lean. as mine did.if u have injectors id say 12 psi is a good starting point and see what u get adding more.injectors and cooler go for 15 tapering down to 11 psi. see what u can get .your tuner will know when to stop. RAPHOON Donating Members 1,776 Member For: 21y 6m 15d Posted 05/04/07 12:27 PM Share Posted 05/04/07 12:27 PM With stock injectors its really a case of whsat boost where in the reve range.You can have higher boost down low as the stock injectors can deliver enough fuel to ensure the mixtures are not too lean. You'll just need to taper the boost off higher up the rev range tp keep things safe.Boost on early will get the large arse T up on its toes and moving as well...
