I have recently dropped 7 kilos as a result of cutting out the sh!t and being more active. The one thing I have not cut down on however is my beer consumption, if anything it's increased.

I kid you not when I say that Pure Blond (low carb, full strength beer) is not a gimick.

The difference in just how bloated you are after a day on the p!ss with any other beer compared to Pure Blond is huge.

I was even thinking of writing a dietry book with Pure Blond being the magic ingredient. Might get one of those Biggest Losers characters to be the lab rat. :spoton:

although pure blonde is a low carb beer, and may help somewhat, unfortunately for drinkers the main weight causing issue is the alcohol itself. Alcohol in itself accounts for a lot of calories. Even a shot of bourbon/rum/whiskey has a lot of calories.

When I trained seriously, I didn't touch a drop of alcohol for 1.5 years. And the weight loss that can be achieved is amazing. I've recently started training again, so the drinking is gonna have to be cut down a bit..

Pure blonde is a good drop though, and I don't mind it at all :spoton:

Pure Blonde or Extra Dry normally. I tried that new Bondi Blonde that they had Paris Hilton out here flogging a while back and it was pretty good to.

I can't believe so many of you blokes are into these fancy imported beers!!

I reckon our local brews are great and, like Jimmy, I'm really not too fussy when it comes to a drink. My regular beer is probably Tooheys New. My number one choice if I'm out for a pre dinner drink would be a Carlton Crown. I tend to steer clear of VB and XXXX, but am happy to drink just about anything, from the Coopers range of ales to Carlton Colds, Draught, Boag's, etc. It's all good!! :spoton:

I agree, some of the local beers aren't bad at all but they have nothing on a good imported German beer in my opinion. Like they always say, you get what you pay for

Stella , Boags Strong Arm Bitter , Boags Premium Lager , Coopers Pale Ale, Blue Tongue not necessarily in that order

Cant stand XXXX or Crownies
