Had a run against one last night on a private road that my mate Bracksy owns. Anyway, my T is stock and I'm not sure what numbers they put out, but we where pretty much nose to nose up until 80k's when I started to pull away. He didn't bother after that...

The Porche Boxter S should be good for a 5.5 0-100ks and 13.6 1/4 mile and therefore should be able to account for your stock T relatively easily.

Funny that, the bloke in the Boxster wouldn't look over at the next set of lights....although, they are nice looking cars if you've got the money to throw at them...

So does that mean he was a sh*t driver, or does my T have one of those engines that sometimes manages to come out of Ford with a little bit more power than what they should have. The reason I ask this is that I've managed to kill cars that I thought I shouldn't - a Maloo was a recent victim...either way I'm happy...I should get it dynoed one day to see how much it is pumping out...

I take it your ute runs high 11's or at worst very low 12's then!

I have some local experience of these and only a Boxter S should provide any degree of challenge and even then - on the straight bits you should be able to pull him off.

Bends or above 200kph the Porsche will show its pedigree.

Great little cars the emphasis being on little - room enough for a toothbrush but a great chassis.
