Looks like a great forum.I have an 03 BA Turbo. It was originally a lease pack car I had from my old gig.A mate of mine bought it from C*stom Fl**t when the lease expired last year, but he lost his license and aside from missing the best car I ever owned,I had to have it back!A question if OK.I can't remember details exactly, but at one point when Ford serviced the car(normal servicing deal being a lease pack),they claim that they made an EPROM change that altered the operation of the "blow off valve".Ford's reasoning was that XR6T drivers were complaing about the blow-off valve letting go during overtaking, the car loosing speed in the wrong lane....never happened to me when overtaking coal trucks......Consequently,the car lost a noticable amount of mojo-especially low down. When I hit em up for the drop in performance, they told me it was a "factory recall of sorts",they wouldn't reverse the changes because it was a lease vehicle(ie not mine),and any private owners who wouldn't accept the "upgrade" or wanted it reversed would be risking warranty.A bunch of workmates who leased XRT's as well copped the same BS and the same sluggishness. Can anyone confirm this crap for me,and what can I do to put balls back into it again?Cheers in advanceChris........
