With the engine cover, don't take what the salesman said. It's new right? Any damage like that done during delivery or whatever should be rectified by the dealer. You could have rejected and not signed for the car on the day and that would have put the dealer in a bad situation, forcing them into action. Ring the 13FORD line and complain to them and tell them what the dealer said to you. Doesn't look too bad in the pics, but I'm sure it will always bug you, especially when showing the donk to your mates. Get Ford to fix it! Do it today!

Thanks man. edit im not sure .. maybe in 6, 7 months. my wallet is now as light as a feather right now, so we shall see as soon as I begin to get that $$ back =)

I'd prefer to get adjusted to the power its got as stock already before I do adjustments. 1st and 2nd gear already put a big smile on my face !

LST60 - The matts were thrown in but I actually wish I asked for more to thrown in =p .. the dealership's supplier had aftermarket ones made up as they had them on their old display wall inside their showroom. they are a fair bit off colour to the green stitching though.

YPURV4 - LOL thanks michael. yer sorry for not giving u the link, I think I was too excited at the time let me get use to this 6spd manual first haha.. its quite hard being brand new and all. I never stalled driving the demo cars. but yesterday was ridicilous on the amount of times I stalled

benjamin - I'm goin back tommorow as apart of the deal, it was meant to come with a full tank of petrol. and it was under the last quarter when I drove off. so I told me and they said, come back wednesday and we shall come with u to fill her up. I ain't complaining about that LOL. im just gonna drive around a bit 2nite and go back when she's nearly empty.

I know I should of not signed and said I want this fixed before I do etc. but at the time , was just to overwhelmed I got it and want to drive it.

What do you all think of buying a new T when theres a new model so close? Did you get a good deal on the car because of this, I hear the BF sales have really slowed.

Before now I didnt really like the green but now I like it after seeing all your pics, Ive just seen the odd falc drive past in this hue and never really looked hard, cool how the stitching matches, and youve got mats with the same highlight? Reminds me of the Mopar colour that was similar, cant remember the name...

I went thru that as well Chargin.

Only reason why I went and got mine was #1 I've always loved this type of green and it was being discontinued

#2 I rarely doubt they may bring this colour back in the orion

#3 I wanted my own car ages ago

#4 by the time the orion comes out, I doubt I'd be able to get my hands on one as there surely would be a waiting list. and esp all the models won't come out all at once... so it's not really that soon when u think about it =p
