The standard fuel pressure reg is 4 bar - 58psi and a 1:1 rising rate so I would hazard a guess and say 58psi.............

58 psi is alot.I am surpirsed.Perhaps it is necessary to overcome turbo pressures and actually flow against these figures.

Usually 350 kpa and then 400kpa or 4 bar when you open the throttle.

This will rise as Boost pressure acts on the rising rate fuel regulator

So at higher boost you have higher fuel pressure. For example if you had say 15PSI boost you might have @ 475~500kpa fuel pressure.

See, Danny agrees with me.

lol

yeah, its 4 bar, and it rises MORE with boost..

1 bar boost (15psi), and you have 5BAR fuel presure..... High aint it?

So correct me if I am wrong..but 400kpa at wot = 60psi less boost psi say 9 psi would mean the injector nozzle would have an effective 51 psi..Is this right?

No because Boost pressure is acting on the fuel rising regulator and increases fuel pressure with boost so arguably the fuel pressure rises with boost canceling out the effect the boost has on the injector like you are suggesting.

So with 9psi boost you would have @ 475kpa fuel pressure not the 400 you are sugesting as that 400 is @ 0 boost.

It's funny though, 'cause I am running 24psi of boost and my fuel pressure reg doesn't increase on boost 24psi - it is like it has a cap. I am running two Bosch 044's so flow isn't an issue, weird.........
