talking to an exhaust shop they are telling me a 3 inch straight through system will be sufficent for all the powergains I would like to do is a three inch big enogh or is he talking sh*t

As has been detailed in a lot of places around here - 2x2.5" flows better than a 3" and the 3" drones, according to some.

I know Billsta and Buf-phoon have custom systems and they are pushing these numbers and up - have a search for their posts

Loopy's right - a single 3" is most definitely a step backwards from the stock system and will not support 350-370rwkw (neither will your stock gearbox for that matter! :spoton: ). If you're serious about making that sort of power you'll need to have a good think about what approach you take and I would suggest that a single 3.5" system would be your minimum exhaust requirement. The X Force system seems to be a popular one with quite a few of the guys around here. :spoton:
