I have found that the ultimates squeel like a btch and I cannot handle it any more. they dont like to stop in the higher speeds. I will be changing them quick smart anyone no what pad is the best my bf ute has 343 rwkw I am hard on the brakes the car has slotted rotors

mate that sucks, mine (other than the dust) are great, you may be hard on your brakes but I have 600kg tool boxes in tray and 900kg unbraked trailer, so im VERY hard on my brakes. Hope you sort it out.

Ive always replaced my pads with high performance items and never had a problem with the disc wearing, but great info turtle, hit the brake pedel today going from 170km down to 0km on my runway and well the shudder was a joke, will be doing this upgrade very shortly me thinks :roflmbo:

mate do it, it got to a point where I hated driving the thing because of the shudder, it was so bad the phone used to get thrown out of the holder and drinks would fall over.

:stirthepot:

I have not reached that level of shudder yet, but its only noticeble for me when I give the brakes a workout that is something a little more than you should be doing on the average commute...But having your level of shudder would really give me the sh*ts

This is mainly due to the fact that the std rotors are NOT designed for Ultimate pads! Rotors are designed to wear out. They like the pads, piston rings, bearings are designed to wear and be replaced!

So if you place a harder pad on a standard (soft) rotor, combine this better braking performance from the pad, the rotor will wear out quicker. Simple!

You maybe right about Ultimates and standard rotors however rotors arent designed to wear out, that's what the bloody pads are for.
