well I finally bit the bullet and decided to buy new instead of used as I wanted the stronger engine and I couldnt find many 04/06 or later used, for a decent price...

so anyways, its a new rip curl pack ute, in manual and coulor is conquer... was wondering if any of the factory options are worth it? what you guys reckon?

I decided to bail on the zf tranny and go manual too, drove a zf and its good, but still its an auto...

Well you've already forgone the best option so nothing else really matters! :spoton:

Definitely go the sports steering wheel, and the luxury pack if the budget stretches. :msm:

Keep in mind with these special "packs" it’s discounted at the dealership level, the dealer still has to pay full price for the options which eats in to any potential discount if that makes any sense.

There was a magnet pack going at the time I was buying, and it worked out better-off for me to not tick the “free” box.

Go with the rip curl gear mate its well worth it. I got magnet pack and I love it. Also premium sound if u got cash and hard lid. I couldn't afford for those two things :(

edit: where abouts are u buying it from ?

Premium sound has colour screen, tweeters on the A pillar and six stack CD Player. Excellent system for a ute, most wouldn't bother with an aftermarket system over premium.

Not real sure on the brake options, but the BF brakes are much better than the BA - the rear rotors are the same size as the front.
