I think it's just display, don't know if it affected any numbers.... Base graph was with wog cooler, F6 cai, BMC filter and gapped plugs so I'm confident it's conservative if anything(the wog said with the latest ford tunes in the car, which I have, these things have 200-205 rwkw ussually, up from 180-190rwkw when originally released so if anything dyno may read a little low).

Technicallyheadsex's injectors (mototrons apparently, ie deka copies but whatever)

Then we had trouble with the injector scaling due to the injectors being slightly different

The old mans still upto his same tricks I see..

Those injectors are genuine Deka's. There is no such thing as mototron copies. Siemens make them OEM for mototron. If you had the mototron version, it would be printed on them, Not DEKA stamped into the side. As I have not used the mototron varient of these injectors, I am unable to comment if they were made to the same specification or not.

Either way, If you required the scalers for these injectors, you could have simply called me and I would have provided them for you.

Many workshops around australia have tuned using these injectors sourced by me without problems. There is infact a workshop still sourcing these injectors off me on a monthly basis pumping out good results.. Also, look at Billsta's 422rwkw, using my injectors.. (Read his posts).

Once the correct injector values have been found, you will not find any further problems with "lack of fuel" :P

good job on the result either way

danny.

Yeah, thanks Forcedxr6, I haven't got a boost gauge or had a trace put on a graph, but the power graph and seat of the pants says there's no boost control problems (what are the symptons to look for anyway?) in fact there are no problems at all that I know of, except for blowing a stupid ford budget 'elastic' type clamp off the intercooler pipe under the battery, got a bit excited in first gear on my way to the boat in melbourne, I just put it back on when I got home and it's sweet. Appart from the acceleration when you get into it, it feels totally stock. I have done the wd40 trick I learned off this forum, which helped. I thought actuator would only become a problem at higher boost levels anyway (aps don't change it until there phase 3 I believe, which is 17psi).

So you think valve springs could be the cause of the lack of top end? Makes sense, but I haven't had the lopey/hunting idle problem (yet). I suppose I should change them, but I remember APS saying a freer flowing exhaust helps this problem, hence I'm contemplating changing the cat to a twin xr8/gt setup. On the road the top end feels great, so mybe it was just a traction issue on the dyno?? (I had less than 1/4 tank of fuel also). I'm a bit of a fan of the Russian space program approach to engineering, I.e. if it aint broke, don't fix it lol
