How much power does your brothers xr6t have???

305rwkw with an agressive mid range on the xr6t. Should of chased down the vz owner with a screw driver and pulled his plates off! :spoton:

Mine dyno'd 411rwkw the other week and I'm loving the cold nights the car seems to be lapping up the freezing air that's for sure.

I don't want to know what the car would do with the monster bottom end I have sitting in the garage if it was fitted into the car.

There's a guy with an r32 gtr that just pulled 644awkw and he's looking for victims looks like I'll have to get in line....

PS. Yellow cars pull harder!

Youv'e got no hope mate, there was an R32 GTR that used to come out and race. Early on he claimed it was a 1osec car, wasn't very quick till he learnt how to drive it. It reeled off a bunch of low 10sec passes at wsid in street trim. From memory he wasn't running more than 4oorwkw.

Even if you drop that built engine in your still much heavier and lacking 4wd, he's going to blow you off the line.

I doupt it has the same torque of Bills car... be an interesting run though

And there lies half his drama, he's gotta get it to the ground. I'm not knocking his car here but he's starting off along way behind & with that much grunt and an 8 or 9'' tire hes not going to get the power down to well.

I've run a R33GTR with 428awkw's on a roll and chopped him and he's got a roll cage in his and has run 10.5. Though I've watched it launch off the line and nothing comes close and this guy can drive.

This guy couldn't believe my engine and gearbox was stock until he asked about my car to others.

300rwkw seem to be the norm now and I found that you only really stand out if you've got late 300 rwkws when your up against the competition.

Lot of big hp car running around now some totally stealth and some overly done though a credit to the car enthusiasts out there putting together great cars of all makes and models.

Traction I have to say hasn't been to bad with the michellins, my torque seems to be the one thing that gets over line quicker than most cars.

It would be a good run but not to see if I can win but by how many car lenthgs he puts on me....it's all fun and games and there's plenty of quick cars out there, though there hasn't been a car that has stayed with me when I've hit fourth gear so far...

Might catch up with the monsta gtr tonight not sure yet. :w00t2:

As for the engine I'm quite happy with the current set up, made some inital enquries and there was uncertainty on how much my high flowed 35/40 would handle.

As for insurance definately want to put the engine in the car but the beast is running very sweet at the moment eventhough I don't want to hurt the stock bottom end.

I was thinking my turbo would probably max out somewhere between 460-480rwkw so we'll have to just see what happens.

I know what will happen I'll put the bottom end in crank up the boost, the turbo will max out and the ZF will die on the dyno! :spoton::w00t2:
