Man From a fellow carpet python owner, that sucks!!! Hope he turns up, mine got out a few times, busted the top off his tank. He's now 2.5m and behind 6mm glass and 20mm board. No one would dare try and take him as I cant even handle him by myself. I've been playing with snakes since I was 6, from vipers to pythons and this fella scares me sometimes.

It seems a little odd for someone to pinch it, ask your friends that knew about your pet if they spoke to anyone about it, no one you know would be dumb enough??!

Hope he turns up, maybe its someones idea of a prank?

Felix

post-5556-1176924488_thumb.jpgpost-5556-1176924488_thumb.jpgNice python carty! Make sure there's no gaps in your enclosure. Small holes are fine, but they can flatten out and squeeze through gaps of only a few mm - which is probably what happened last time.

Our Stimson's Python (My boy called him Stanley) is a great pet - low maintenance, keep his water topped up, feed once a week (goes 6 weeks without eating leading up to a shed or slough), crap once a week, regulates his own temperature with a heat mat in the corner of the enclosure and provides hours of fascination.

Here's a pic of Stanley gutsing an adult mouse. He's about 60cm long and his neck is about as thin as a pencil. I feel like 'm watching Discovery Channel every time I watch him feed!

Enjoy!
