Thanks for the input guys.

I have put the cal out to a company called Direct Dial Cars.

Search the net and you will find them.

They get EX Fleet and EX Government cars at prices that are supposed to be very good.

I guess if I can get one for the right price and then put in a Sunroof and the wheels I want then I will be happy with that. I have requested less than 50000k's so we will see how we go.

Cheers

James

I say wait or get a 6 speed manual.

I have a 4sp auto and its first gear ratio is way too high. If you want really quick take off from the lights forget it. With a 4 sp auto you will have trouble getting past a honda civic VTI, unless you have room to get well past 70kph.

On the open road it is fine.

I am getting a new one with a 6 speed auto soon, can't wait.

Yes and look for premium or prestige sound, the base XR6T sound system is very ordinary.

The manual is outta the question and I am not sure if I can wait any longer.

I just want one now.

What do you think of the one in the ad???

28k seems a little steep for a BA with 45000km. Otherwise it seems a nice car.

A lot of BFs should be coming up at the Fleet auctions soon. Most of these are not really thrashed as you would expect and have 1 year warranty or more to allow you to get the bugs out before modification or flashing.

Spoke to the guy on the phone and he said he would definately take $27 but would have to thinkover anything lower.

It also needs its 45000k service which I have to factor in.

With what I have seen around it is a good price I think with the Sunroof Wheels Etc.

I know my company have a lot of fleet XR6Ts going up for auction now in the fleet sales, from what I am told by others you can expect to buy back your 2 year old stock XR6T for less than 25K with warranty. At least in my company no one seems to thrash theirs all that much and only get them because the lease cost is only marginally more than that for an XT.

You can buy the BFXR6T already.

I reccomend the Ex Chasers so far...

Got mine on the weekend from Sydney and my god it leaves the old BAXR6T for dead.

Must be a Cop thing......

Absolutely flys...... :spoton:

And the 6 PS Auto is a dream....
