It has been a well proven fact that if you flog an engine through it's run in period that you will have more power at the rears whereas an engine which is babied will produce less. Just ask cro ok, im just about to purches a new f6, if I flog it during the recomended 'run in' 1st 750km... it will produce more power???? whats it like for the engine though? Not sure what it's going to do to the engine. I have run my last 2 cars in like that and never had a problem.

When I picked up my GT I swore that I was going to keep to the FPV run in procedures but by the time I had got home from the dealer, it had already been to the rev limiter a few times Just enjoy the car I say

This was due to the day there was a trophy for guess your HP reading. With RWHP it allowed a larger specturm of answers I guess.Strange I know but never the less that was that. This thread was started directly after that day so some of the figures are in RWHP. Yes I agree we all normally use RWKW.And it make me FEEEEEEEEEEEEl good
Gronker Member 4 Member For: 18y 9m 14d Posted 26/05/07 12:04 PM Share Posted 26/05/07 12:04 PM If that's true then these cars are making 300+fwkW. I'm inclined to believe the numbers are BS.My unmodified Mk1 BF Typoon makes 300 fwkw (227 rwkw) on the Redcliffe Dyno and all the rest are same or close. Ford underquotes F6 fwkw as it's not good marketing to let it be known that F6's have a higher output than the Boss flagship.Ask yourself why standard F6's are consistently faster over the 1/4 than standard Boss engined models.
