I'm sure that would make a difference on the road but not on the dyno I would think. It has been a well proven fact that if you flog an engine through it's run in period that you will have more power at the rears whereas an engine which is babied will produce less. Just ask cro :roflmbo:

ok, im just about to purches a new f6, if I flog it during the recomended 'run in' 1st 750km... it will produce more power???? whats it like for the engine though?

It will certainly produce more power. Not sure what it's going to do to the engine. I have run my last 2 cars in like that and never had a problem.

sounds good, I was dredding taking it easy for 750km!!! that's imposible when your in such a car...

Tell me about it. When I picked up my GT I swore that I was going to keep to the FPV run in procedures but by the time I had got home from the dealer, it had already been to the rev limiter a few times :spit: Just enjoy the car I say :roflmbo:

Hay guys what sort of power figures are the stock F6 BF getting. My graph shows 330 RWHP which is 247.5 RWKW. Have told a few guys about it all think its BS so here is the graph.

post-7363-1174036865_thumb.jpg

Boost rises to 14 then drops to 9Psi THIS IS THE STOCK MAP...... The car has not been tuned my old cappa box is still locked on my old BA XRT

Has any one else got a BF with similar results. Mine was bought new from Southern Cross Ford Build 330 Ha HA also 330 RWHP

Another strange thing the Cat is a triangular unit different to my old BA

On the RPD Dyno Day here in Brisbane all the cars were recorded in RWHP. This was due to the day there was a trophy for guess your HP reading. With RWHP it allowed a larger specturm of answers I guess.

Strange I know but never the less that was that. This thread was started directly after that day so some of the figures are in RWHP. Yes I agree we all normally use RWKW.

And it make me FEEEEEEEEEEEEl good :w00t2::roflmbo:

If that's true then these cars are making 300+fwkW.

I'm inclined to believe the numbers are BS.

My unmodified Mk1 BF Typoon makes 300 fwkw (227 rwkw) on the Redcliffe Dyno and all the rest are same or close. Ford underquotes F6 fwkw as it's not good marketing to let it be known that F6's have a higher output than the Boss flagship.

Ask yourself why standard F6's are consistently faster over the 1/4 than standard Boss engined models.
