It has run 13.052 / 108.2mph at Willowbank on a warm night (18deg).My goal is to get into the 12's with a stock car. The only mod is an old K&N filter from my previous car which doesn't make a lot of difference afaikt.Bring on the cooler weather.Big AL←342.4 RWHP Al that's gooood stuff from a stock unit next willowbank trip send me a PM

My best was only 13.5sec and another club member with 400rwhp could only manage a 13.4sec. I'll give you a yell when the next one is on.Big AL

Is there anyway of reliably measuring engine power? (I remember top gear saying something about letting the car coast down on the dyno to work out the losses through the drivetrain) given 300 Expensive Daewoo kw's equal say 240 rwkw, they must have closer to 320kw stock. Why wouldn't ford want to advertise that to the oppositions followers?

Like I said either ford's lying about the 245kW or the dyno is overly optimistic. The stock T's aren't fast enough to indicate they are making much more than 245kW.←were talking f6's not xr6t's..... 270kw rated

I was very impressed with that F6 being std and all.

xr6 Member 96 Member For: 19y 10m 21d Posted 21/03/07 05:37 PM Share Posted 21/03/07 05:37 PM This would explain why F6s are faster than VE HSVs in the car mag tests. Wheels and Motor both recently tested a F6 (same car?) that ran low 5s for 0-100 and smoked the HSV (so much for 0-100 in under 5s).Does this make the Phoon the fastest Aussie production car of all time?
