What's the best performance kit under 10k?

If it was me, Id be in the market for one of 3 kits:

APS Phase III with Siemens deka 600lb injectors and and edit instead of a unichip. All up would come around 9.5k give or take a few 100 bucks.

Nizpro stage II + Walbro pump and a full X Force system 4" dump/cat and 3.5single/twin 2.5 catback.

Now, the last kit is a hybrid kit that G&D could do which comrpises of the following:

Full custom tune

Siemens injectors (60lb)

Bosch 044 pump with surge tank

3.5" dump, 3.5" metal cat and twin 2.5 remus catback

AVO intercooler kit

G&D airbox

Ported wastegate + acutator and larger swing valve

That would all come to around 10k I would have thought. All kits similar priced and all would get a Turbo or typhoon down the strip in mid 11's on street setup.

Which would be the best kit in everyones opinion?

I run Nizpro Stage 2...

If I was to spend my money again, I would do exactly the same, but I would've done it earlier. I waited too long (12 months)...

I love it.

You could ask this question a thousand times a day and still get different answers from different people.

Speak to the tuner, preferably in person, and go with who you trust.

Nizpro, C & V, Autotech, G & D, etc etc all have very happy customers, and their customers are very unlikely to recommend anyone else.

Absolutely correct. Go with any of the guys who have the runs on the board and you're bound to be happy. Then it just becomes a question of budget, or should I say cash flow to meet your "needs", or should I say "wants".

T, good response, but I am biased towards Nizpro simply because they designed the Cobra upgrades from first principles and tune their own mods. So, I agree with Jack - it's Nizpro all the way for me. :gooff:

Dont forget performance also includes Braking and Handling. *beep* me if you intended to spend ten grand on the motor on a stock XR6T you would have a rock for your head.

So Ten Grand after brakes and handling would leave you about Six Grand max.

Scotty

PS Not to mention what you would have top spend on wheels and tyres to put down the new found power. that's if your clutch and gearbox can handle it.
