Whilst compaanies are making millions (lower tax rate than the average), they can dock entitlements and conditions.I hope you all enjoy your good hours, weekends, holidays, sick days and job security, because unions have been vital in providing these

We require 24 hours notice and we can refuse them access. They are not allowed on site until they have endured our mind numbing 4.5 hour induction, checked there ID and licences, and only then if we allow them to, they can only talk to members on site during smoko and lunch. They even call the office staff madam and sir... Ahh.. The times have changed...

We should all be thankfull for what unions have given us through the years. Those were the years when unions had real power, maybe too much. Now the have basically no pull at all. Hence why people are deserting them. But where will we be in 20 yrs from now better or worse off without them. Maybe we will all be stuck on AWA's with no paid sick leave, not as many public holidays and bugger all salary to show for losing or signing away all those entitlements. And I have a dislike of the unions that run very, very deeply to my core.....
