All the state leaders have been pointing the finger at the federal level for all of their woes, citing lack of funding or just plain blame shifting. Maybe we need a full labour government to make the population realise what's going on. It would be interesting to see who the state premiers blame for their incompetence if they have their own party running the country as well. But then that's a very scary proposition ←Another reason we don't neet state Governments. If they're going to blame the Federal Govt, then why are they there. Since GST, they've never had more funding. Also, NSW is the highest taxed state, yet still they cry poor. They're job is to ensure the tasks are done. If they need federal assistance, they it is up to them to secure it, not sit back and complain they don't have it.If they're not blaming the feds, it's the local council's fault. The water summit is the perfect exapmple. The states all sat back and blamed the Federal Government. When it was proposed for the federal Govt to take it over, they all agreed, until Rudd turned it political and they all decided to keep their control. Labout has has 12 years of f*cking up the state with catastrophic failures in water, electricity, roads, public transport, housing, budgeting, failed promises, the environment, healthy, safety, business and anything else they've touched. They, in conjunction with the unions and the greens are running continual campaigns based on blatant lies (that they have been caught on) and inadequate patches. All the while, polling is showing they will be returned to power, as strong as ever.Come on people, wake-up! There aren't many politicians to like, but enough is enough. It's the party that you are voting for and if NSW Labour get back in, God help everyone. Then again, when Expensive Daewoo Late model camira is Australia's No.1 selling car as well as the highest recalled call of all time, what hope have we got.←then get the lib's to back crediable people instead of stuck up gits and they may have a chance. for the record I think lib's are way to out of touch with the people and labour is in bed with too many factions (political sluts) so im not to optomistic at the moment. I bet for some there would be none left if intrest rates were back at labours 18% god help those average familys with 400k loans as labour won't...........
