Lifetime Members 7,935 Member For: 20y 9m 4d Gender: Male Location: Sydney Posted 17/03/07 11:53 AM Share Posted 17/03/07 11:53 AM I have been in Fiji for 5 days on holidays seeing how political crap directly affects a country. These people should outsource their politicians as everything is tribal or business. If you are a native, it’s tribal and if you are an Indian it is business. It is a funny mix as the Indians own the businesses, but the natives own the land. It is no wonder they are still a 3rd world country with NFI.As for Australian politics, it is going to be a VERY interesting year.Firstly, I think that Labour will win in NSW. Not because they are good, but because The Liberals have no idea how to run an election let alone a state. I would rather have the Labour gimps slowly stuff things up than these morons in the state Liberals jump in with guns blazing and stuff things up further.State Liberals need to have a mass suicide and start from scratch as they are not able to run anything. As for Federal governments, I also think that Labour will get in. This will be due to the Iraq/Terrorist issue going on WAY too long. While we had to follow our Allies, I think we were a bit blind and needed to ask some questions like WHY DID WE INVADE IRAQ? It is going to take many years to fix and will make Vietnam look like a minor skirmish.Australians are always ready to help a mate in a fight, but if this mate walks up to every bloke holding a can of oil and starts laying into him, it wears VERY thin quickly. George W Bush is 100x worse than Hitler. He is suffering from a severe case of NFI and is doing more damage than any terrorist organisation could have ever hoped for. This is where Howard has blindly taken our country into a conflict we had no right to be involved with. This si going to create a massive backlash vote and will be his undoing. The Liberals have also p!ssed me off by selling Hel$tra as I now have to compete against a monopoly that has no regard for anyone in the Telecoms market. The Federal Labour party has finally gotten themselves a good leader in Rudd and this is all they needed to win the past 2 elections, but neer could. Having watched Rudd on TV for several years on Sunrise, I said to my wife 2 years ago that he will be the next PM. He has charisma and is a real leader like Hawk, Howard and Fraser. Not like a Keating or Beasley.I just hope that Rudd does a good job with economic management as this is where the Howard government went very well, but they did have China buying all our natural resources.John Howard’s time is up; he knows it and will retire after his defeat. I just wonder who will replace him, if it is Costello, we will not see a Liberal government in until they find someone better.

He called the rep 5, 20 minutes later the site is closed! Go figure, this f*cker was supported by the union for being a drunken dope smoking f*ckwit and endangering the lives of all the other site workers. Unions should take a 3 inch round bit of reobar, heat it up, and shove it up their arses! That way it will atleast seal it closed so no more sh*t can come from them! Anyone remember the painters and dockers? Run by crooks, pretty much the same as it is these days!GO f*ck YOURSELVES!←And of course they are full of arseholes, but you seem to forget about why the union movement came about in the first place. See what sot of conditions many of us would be subjected too without the union movement. There's good and bad in everything.Unfortunately we only hear the sensationalist crap from the Government and big business and the f@ckwits like Alan Jones and the Telegraph. And no I'm not in any union and never have been. Why should anyone have to work with a danger like him? The union shut the site down for 48 hours in support of this coksmoker! They did not shut it down to do drug and alcamohol tests, they did to prove that they were biger and badder than the boss! It was reopened only after it was agreed that threatening to sack someone for taking 15 mins more than they should for lunch did not happen again!Like I said UNIONS = 99% FUKTARDATION of the workplace. Remember the reo bar, they should make it 4 inch!

Not like a Keating or Beasley.←Sorry Zap, but how can you justify this current mob of NSW Labour fark-ups. Don't forget that the NSW Labour party was on the verge of bankruptcy before they were elected in and that no one liked Carr, they thought he was not a decent alternitave (just like what those are saying of Debenham). Labour has always goverened to benefit Labour and their Union cronies, not the people who elected them. If all those who say both parties are no good and conceed Labour is hopeless, then why not make a change, we've got nothing to loose by giving the others a go.With Howard and Iraq, firstly, at the time 55% of the population were in favour of sending troops in, Labour was in Support and so were the Greens. No matter who was in power, we would have gone. Now, with the benefit of hindsight, the tables have turned and Labour and the Greens are taking the popular moral high ground. And, don't forget that whoever gets elected next will be in power when the trops come home. If it's Howard everyone will say 'about time'. If it's Rudd, he'll be touted as a hero.I have also been watching Rudd on Sunrise and thought he was a slimy, sleez bag who could not be trusted. He was torn apart by Hockey on several occations and constantly picked-up for lying and contradictions. The Iraq issue being a prime example with Hockey producing footage of Rudd claiming 100% support for sending troops, but later saying he was adamantly opposed.Telstra service has never been better. Under Government control they were typical Public Service crap. Now things at least get done.An all Labour controlled Australia will be a disaster. Lifetime Members 7,935 Member For: 20y 9m 4d Gender: Male Location: Sydney Posted 19/03/07 10:50 PM Share Posted 19/03/07 10:50 PM Tmac,I wished there was a Liberal alternative in NSW as I would vote for them, but the current Liberals are more of a worry than the current Labour gimps. Even the Liberals advertising says DON'T VOTE LABOUR, they do not say vote liberal, just not to vote labour. The Young liberals should be held accountable about what they did to get Debenham in as leader.I am a Liberal voter, but have become very annoyed by the federal Libs as it seems like they have lost direction and are spending all their time fire fighting. This allows the other parties to attack them on many fronts.I agreed with going to Afghanistan, but not Iraq and I think this is what a majority think. Now we have a massive humanitarian disaster in Iraq that will NEVER be fixed, no matter how much money is thrown at it.They would be better to pull out all the troops and nuke the place. As for Telstra, they S U C K. Just wait 12 months and see if you are saying the same things. Telstra want to charge their competitors a massive hike in the ULL prices. This is the copper line from your house to the exchange. This is the same piece of copper that every taxpaying person owns, and the government have sold OUR infrastructure for their own greed. They should have kept the copper and exchanges and let Telstra play on even ground with all the other Telco’s. Now we are forced to play by Telstra rules, where we buy the ULL for the same price as Telstra sell a full retail ADSL service. We cannot compete and this is why the ACCC are always slapping Telstra around. The problem is now that ACCC have dropped the anti competitive charges because it would be too costly to pursue.I TOTALLY agree that a State/Federal Labour government would be bad, but the Liberals have brought this on themselves. Labour will not WIN, it will be the Liberals that will LOOSE the elections due to incompetence

Where did you hear this, Piers Ackerman.Howard's a little me too troll who loves to ride on the coat tails of America. He's a weasel that has never had an independent thought in his life. If Bush hadn't gone to Iraq, Howard would have spent the last 4 years defending that instead. On the sphincter scale Howard's a 10, Rudd's a 5, but that'll change after he wins. Both parties are long past being irrelevant jokes, that serve no one but themselves.
