I'm going to vote Labor this year (voted Howard the first 3 times), but I am worried, I don't think its good for Australia to be a total Labor party shop - federal and all 8 state/territory governments.

Any country needs TWO good strong parties to keep the other one in check.

Where are the Libs going wrong, if they are going wrong at all?

Are they too socially conservative? Too much in favor of American-style policies? :spoton:

I'll probably vote labor for the first time in my life. I'm sick of Johnnie jumping into bed with Bush every 2 seconds.

In saying that, I hope to hell Bracks is removed quick smart. He is slowly destroying this state :roflmbo:

"This is the Recession we had to have"........ :roflmbo:

that's what'l happen.....

Well it was keating that really set up or economy, John Howard is merely riding his good work, and of course the massive growth in China. And those high interest rates during the last labor years? No more than what was happening in most of the other economies around the world.

Howard has in fact sat on his hands these last years. And now he will pay.

He lies (Children over board, AWB, War), massive scandals (Treatment of refugees, Deportation of AUSTRALIAN citizens) the list goes on.

Its about Bloody time everyone woke up and started turning their back on him. I just hope theres not another Children overboard or something a month out from election.

Howard is the last man you would want in Government if you had family in the armed forces or if you needed some protecion (After 5 years the gov comes out all sorry about the delays in charging Hicks,)

And as far as Labor controlling the states and fed gov??? Can it be worst that Howard controlling the house of Reps AND Senate? Hence why we have sale of Telstra and other bad legislation put through like the "work choices".

Bring on the Election, Bring on any one other that Howard.

Sorry for the rant! :roflmbo:

The Libs are falling apart!!!

No democratic Government can control Interest rates. Interest raates are supply & demand & the market dictates the price!

All Pollies are full of sh*te, just some are better at selling it than others & act out the deal

very well!

But personally all Governments should put the interests of Australians 1st. eg import fruit etc. especially when our our farmers are letting their fruit rot due to the imports pricing them out of the market!

Also I wish someone would force supermarkets to display where all the products come from. Like the made in Australia from local & imported products, as listed on tin foods etc. Tomatoes are the prime eg. the supermarkets import from china who fertilisers their fruit with sewage.

Australia for Australians!!!!!

I'll vote Labour, who wants to see the Abbott & Costello show if Johnny retires!!!!

Grow up the lot of you.

Every state Labour Government in the country is failing. They have all let infrastrusture fall by the wayside, they're all spending less where it matters, but their tax collections have never been higher.

The last Federal Labour Government failed.

No matter who is in power, they will always follow the American's into war (they always have and always will).

Rudd is a wheasle and untrustworthy.

While the Govts don't control interest rates, their economic policies do.

I actually think that of JH. He has proven many times he talks sh*t. About time ppl realised this. I agree with hoover and think Rudd is very intelligent & will do well for this great country.
