Good to hear that nobody got hurt, as that's first and foremost.

Hopefully the shop and the owner come to some sort of agreement to sort it all out fairly.

that's bad darts :spoton: BA/F are easy to lift.Little cars and Jap vans especially are a bitch.We have one rotary hoist at work, where if you don't pull the lock lever all the way down and start to lower the car with the release lever..........only one side will go down..........off the car goes- on its side.............hasn't happened yet. :Doh:

dude that really sucks, it has actually happened to me with an MGB falling from about the same height. Car got tuck in the same way with the ass in the air

the thing that really pissed me off, I was just getting work done for a roadworthy as I had just SOLD the f**cking car :sofa:

The owner felt really really bad about it, he was insuraed and got the car fixed witghin a week. Sale still went through too luckly :wtf:

I still use the mechanic, he has been in business for over 25 years and mistakes do happen

I saw this happen to a brand new zk fairlane once.

The mechanic put it on the hoist myself and the service adviser went under it to check an oil leak for the owner as we walked away the car landed on the drivers side accross the hoist.

We went striaght to the pub to recover from the shock.
