After much suction, pulling, pushing, they finally got the forceps and dragged him out by his poor little head!! Very happy to say that he's all well and good, and mum is recovering well too! Although she's probably had 2hrs sleep since 6am wednesday. As for me, I'm wrecked. But that's my own fault.. had a bit of a bender last night to celebrate his birth! I told the missus I'd be back at the hospital by around 9am... I didn't get home till 6am Needless to say, mum wasn't too impressed when I didn't show up till 3pm.. still feeling ill now. With a bit of luck they'll both be home tomorrow, and a new chapter/adventure will begin for me! Funnily enough, I still keep in touch with one of my old teachers from high school, top bloke he is. He sent me and Rach a letter to wish us well and everything.. anyways, the letter arrived yesterday, right on the day he was born! How freaky I suppose I better get to bed.. don't want to do a repeat of todays effort and turn up late again
