Gents it’s not always the bad-egg dealer’s fault. They can’t replace everything on a whim, it has to be proven to head office that it was worthy of warranty replacement or they get no reimbursement for the parts or labour.

Somehow I doubt they could justify replacing a fog light unless it was proven that there was a manufacturing fault in the bracket for example. Let’s get a dose of realism here hey.

OK they say that I hit the driveway with the skirt when exiting my house. If the plastic clips can't take the warp of the skirt then they have a bad design fault, get rid of the clips and use bolts. If I installed a door in your house and it fell off, would you let me get away with saying you slamed it?

So if you smashed into you door and it fell off you'd expect the builder to replace it?

Have you considered trading your T on a surplus Army Tank? At least that wont fall apart if you smash it into things.... :roflmbo:

I agree:

if it is a genuine fault Ford will fix it if it is a bull shyte fault well it is your problem

I have had 4 BA BF utes and never had a drama on claims and no it is not from the same dealer ( paint repairs rust a diff a exhaust and now a dodgy sound system) all treated with respect

Did the foglight come right out of the bumper? They clip in from the back and if the clips don't hold will fall back inside the bumper and sit on the dust shield. One of mine came loose after I (gently) hit a kerb when parking. Clipped it back in, and it's been fine ever since.

Biggest pain in the arse with these lights is changing the bulbs. I use mine as daytime running lights and have replaced 2 bulbs in 60,000 kms. At least the bulbs are cheap...

I reckon this is why Ford is sus on paying! I have had them come out the back and rest on the "dust shield" but never out front. From memory it's almost impossible to get them out through the front.

Have you changed a globe recently and maybe not got it back in correctly?

I had one of mine fall out the front with the BA.....but that was after T-boning some dopey bitch that pulled out in front of me and causing $15k worth of damage to the ute.

So no, they don't come out that easily.
