I have had the T for 11 months and travelled 17k. Not one thing has gone wrong so when I saw the foglight hanging by the wires I took it back to the dealer. This is a country dealership and I know from the dealer princible to the car detailer by their first names. So my gripe the service manager said he would fix it under warranty this time, but as there is scratches under the foglight 'FORD' says it isn't a warranty issue. And if he puts in a claim to "FORD" it will not be paid. What a load of :spoton:

that's cause it's impact damage mate, it's not a manufacturing fault.

Something has Hit it or when you have come out of a driveway the front bar has hit the ground and popped the light.

You can't expect ford to pay for something they have not caused????

Yeah I've had a similar thing in the past with a tyre. It split in the side wall but because there was a mark there that looked as if it may have come from an impact (even though it didn't) Ford didn't honor the warranty. Hard luck mate.

Some ppl love saying No. Old, stale and bitter public servants or people who've been in one trade/business for a long time (with mixed success) are the ppl who are the main culprits.

If I was a dealer, unless I suspected a rat, would honor most warranty claims to keep the customer on side.
