New Pacemaker Comp Headers

Hey, I just do what I gots to do

Well done, falconutebeast, best news Ive had this week.

Did you make sure they are the Triple Platinum one mate? Vicky told me about 6 weeks ago that they had them and they only had the normal plugs not the Triple Platinum ones.

The price sounds right for Triple Platinums.

Guys jump on these plugs they'll be tops, gap is every thing but and I'll get C&V to play around with the gap to find the right setting.

Do take a look at this short film taken of a young Spiro at Autotech

http://www.lynxcorp.com.au/main.php?idx=producttests

Keep in mind that the SS in the film has only 2 valves per cylinder and our donks have 4 valves per cylinder. This means that the conbustion in our engines will be more efficient over the old SS.

The idea behind plugs like these is that the plug can support more gap = bigger spark = more bang = more power as your fuel should be burnt harder and faster.

Almost the same theory behind the BPT High out put coils.

Do you guys want to jump in and buy a heap of these plugs now or wait till Ive tested them????

So the highest we should pay for these plugs is

6 X $24.70 = $148.20

There maybe GST on that, and postage.

So lets get a list together if you want a group buy.

I'll pick up a set asap and do a dyno run or two on them, if I don't get 190 rwkw with these buggers I be cut.

Any worries about this product hold back and wait for the results soon. :spoton:

well she said 160,000kms, so it must be the triple platinums.

Since I have just forked out $100 for the autolite ones I might just chill for a bit.

Also the autolite ones I have are gaped at .9mm, while my old ones were gaped at .8mm, so I do have a wee bit bigger gap.

I'll rather wait till I see the results.

Also I think you should wait till you got those high output coils before testing.

that price I listed before included GST

May pick them up now and hold back fitting till the coils are here, I want to know how they'll run on a large gap before the coils, then we'll open them out to joke style gaps when the coils are fitted.

I want a spark like a blow torch. We'll even play with the tune to find out whats the best set up.

Can't wait. :spoton:

I only put new plugs in last week during Power Cruise, anyone want a almost new full set of ford plugs? ha ha ha.

The 9940 headers are Gone.

I have another set of header for sale, they are new but their not PaceMaker's.

I had pic's of them on here some where before but they never sold.

They are not coated.

Keep in mind they are new and have never been fitted.

Im after $200 for them, will post pic's here soon or put a link to the old thread up.

These other headers are made to support top end power, so Ive been told, I think they are Di filippo's but Ive been told they are Genie's.

As soon as I get a pic of them we'll be able to work out what they are.

The buggers are much pibber that 4490's and massive compaired to 4495's

I didn't fit them because the guy at Cromer Exhaust said, "PaceMaker are tested and will always work the best" at the time he was looking at my 4490's.

Theres nothing much wrong with what he said, but the 4490 just aren't the header for my needs there for any change was going to be the right move.

I held back at the time fitting these other headers and when I saw the 4495's in action knew what my problem was, I did think of fitting these other headers again, but in the end I went for the right tool for the job.

These other headers look text book the way big power headers should to my eye, I welcome anyone to take a look and see what you think.

Pic's will be up next week.

Ok so, what about for everyday driving, and bottom end power, say up to 3000 - 3500 rpm will anything be sacrificed? Just trying to see if these headers are right for my aopplication, or if I should be waiting and saving for 4490's?

Thanks
